Alpaca Stud Males
Fowberry Inca Prince
Inca
Inca is half Accoyo and from top quality Australian bloodlines. Date of Birth: 01/05/2004.
He has developed into a stunning macho with an excellent substance of bone with a medium-size frame and a neat attractive head. He has a huge, soft-handling fleece, showing good character and an excellent uniformity of colour. Inca has a manageable sweet temperament and was very easy to halter train. His advanced testicular size and maturity had him working at sixteen and a half months. His progeny (and siblings) have proven to be just as early maturing and he is reproducing only his own colour, no matter the colour of the dam. He is serious about his job and keen to pass on his superior coverage, stocky frame and solid colour consistency to your girls. One of his offspring is pictured, bottom right: Montana, first fleece at 12 months: 20.45micron; 4.18SD; 20.4CV; 97.5CF
His Sire
Wessex Accoyo Fernando (SW, Full Accoyo) is by Purrumbete Ledgers Dream out of Jolimont Brujeria. He was selected from Coricancha Alpaca Stud by Alpacas of Wessex for his typical Accoyo traits and highly desirable fleece characteristics: still super-fine at five years old, 20.3μ (2005). He was Supreme Champion Huacaya at the East of England Show 2004 and Mature Champion Huacaya Male at the biggest alpaca show in Europe, The Royal Bath & West 2004.
His Dam
Windsong Valley Chenoa (Fleur) (Solid L. Brown), is by Windsong Valley Royal Inca (Alianza) and was 22μ at 2½ years old. Royal Inca is still one of the top-rated males in Australia and a prolific sire of show winners, his progeny having won 24 champion or reserve champion ribbons to date. Royal Inca won the sire's progeny at the Australian National Show in 2002 and 2003 and the Perth Royal Show in 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004. He won National Show Champion fleece in 1998. Chenoa's dam, Windsong Valley Leandra is dark grey and from top quality coloured stock. This productive female line carries a predisposition to coloured cria and over ten years has produced no whites, whatever colour of sire they are mated to. This even includes dominant white genetics like Purrumbete Highlander, Ledger's Dream and Windsong Valley Ice Man.
