Yorkshire Woven Alpaca

We introduce our brand new Winter 2010/11 range of Baby Alpaca Woven Scarves, which contain 100% Fowberry fleece in the natural colours of the herd with no dyes or chemicals used in their production. Our alpacas are born and raised in the Howardian Hills of North Yorkshire, their fleece is sheared annually and the scarves woven in West Yorkshire at a small artisan weaver.

The alpacas' fleece is rigorously sorted to ensure that only the finest and softest fleece is sent to be spun into extra fine 2-ply yarn. The resultant scarf once woven has a soft warming texture and at over 2 metres long and 30cms wide, is generous enough to keep you seriously warm on even the coldest days.  The four unique designs take you from a country walk, to a days shopping, a business meeting or a day at the races.

Weaving alpaca yarn displays this luxury fibre at its very best and therefore it is only fitting that our scarves come gift-boxed.  Order today in our on-line shopAll prices are inclusive of gift-box and postage (recorded) to your U.K. home. Left to right: Hemingway, Commisario, Highlander and Saltaire.
