Royal Agricultural College
We were honoured that the Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester chose our alpaca farm to have an afternoon learning all about alpaca farming. Generally people are enchanted by alpacas and the thirty students were no different, with lots of intelligent and searching questions. After tea, the afternoon exploring alpacas and their fleece products was fun, except all the attention went to herd sire Miguel's head - he started orgling and jumped on Jenny to much hilarity.
Clients' Success
It is very important to us that our clients succeed with their alpacas, that is why we are happy to visit to trim toes and get new owners started; be around for advice; provide spit-off males for females on
their farm; offer free courses and then further unstructured and individual training where/when required.
Our females and herd-sires have performed again in clients' herds this year with multiple Championships and placings at competitive shows. Amongst many good results, there were championship Junior Females for Fowberry Lucien and second to his father in the sires progeny class; also 1st Junior Black Male (by Miguel) at the Futurity 2011. The culmination was Supreme Huacaya Fleece at the Scottish National fleece Show 2011 (152 Fleeces) -Congratulations to Jonathan and Judith and their beautiful Northumbrian Lady Matilda (by Top Account) - Fleece score: 89 out of 100 points.

EPC Top Account of Fowberry
We are conscious that this talismanic herd sire is not getting any younger. We no longer allow him to work three times in one day and his bookings will continue to be monitored on an on-going basis.
