Introducing Richebourg

We have had interest in our 2011 grey cria, Richebourg, so here he is. His dam Fowberry Nell, is by Miguel of Fowberry, (out of a mid-grey dam) and until now was the best grey fleece we had seen. Nell's junior fleece winning points at the Scottish National Fleece Show 2010 (Cameron Holt - 268 fleeces), had her as runner up, Champion Grey Fleece (behind AS Nyetimber).
Richebourg is by Lillyfield Jack of Spades of Inca and we are told has his classic head type. Richebourg stood out from the day he was born. He is extremely dense fleeced with defined character to staple ends. We believe his fleece will be fine, like his dam and sire. Richebourg has a better weight of bone and coverage than some adult alpacas. Just like his dam, Richebourg has a quiet and laid-back attitude to life. Photos taken at 22 weeks old.
