Fowberry Merlin
Merlin has a wonderful pedigree and is a half brother to Supreme Champion, Fowberry Lucien. He is full Accoyo, with his dam Graceburn Park Bella being a daughter of Benleigh Bellisimo and including Purrumbete and Jolimont bloodlines. Her seventh fleece displays hardly a guard hair on her body and this she has passed on to both her sons, Lucien and Merlin. This lack of guard hair gives a creamy buttery soft handle to the fleece all over their bodies and ensures a much greater amount of fleece in the prime fibre bag at shearing. His sire Bozedown Viscount is solid Jolimont lines and had an outstanding show career with Bozedown Alpacas, winning his first Supreme Championship with Joy Whitehead when he was nine months old. Merlin looks exactly like his sire did at the same age. We called Merlin after the white wizard because of the whiteness and brightness of his fleece. Full Accoyo and lack of guard hair are not generally heard in the same sentence - seeing is believing...........
