Alpacas to the Moon?

Fowberry MerlinOur vet questioned whether our alpacas were going to populate a new planet, such was the rigorous testing of them required to go to new owners in Europe.

We were sad to see two of our young herd sires, Fowberry Merlin (brother to Lucien) and Fowberry Nero (brother to Morgan) leaving the country today.  Especially when we remember the day they were born.  These two hugely impressive boys have spectacular pedigrees with some iconic names, in the alpaca industry in Australia.  Merlin is full Accoyo and has the density and coverage that indicates this.  However he is still fine for an Accoyo, with a striking lack of guard hair. We are proud to say that both boys will make an impact both in frame and fleece on their progeny.

Our boys have been tested for and passed:

IBR  ss
Brucella abortus
Tuberculosis
BVDFowberry Nero
Bluetongue
Salmonella
Leptospirosis
Paratuberculosis and including five other herd members of their originating herd.
