La Luna

(b.2007, Sire – Top Account)

La Luna has fleece characteristics of a top flight white fleece – fineness, density and character to the end of the staples. The brightness in her fleece can be seen on the surface as she walks around the field. She always catches the eye of visitors, with her long Bambi eyelashes and prettiest of faces.

When she won Supreme Champion of the Northumberland County Show 2008 (95 alpacas), Judge Val Fullerlove urged those who wanted to see an ideal alpaca to view La Luna’s fleece.

La Luna’s histogram at 11 months was one of the higher first-fleece microns recorded of Top Account’s 2007 offspring, still stunning though at:- 18.70µ; 3.12sd;16.7cv; 0.4>30µ. 3.12sd for a mid fawn first fleece – incredible.

Apart from being part of the winning Sire’s Progeny group for her sire Top Account, she excelled individually at the Northumberland County Show 2008 taking 1st Junior Fawn Female, Junior Female Champion, Best Fawn, and Supreme Champion.
