Iquita's Beaded Scarf

Only the fleece from Fowberry female Iquita was used for this unusual scarf. It was hand knitted in a plain stich with a twig like effect and pearl beads over it. Iquita is one of our finest fleeced alpacas and one that shears the biggest weight of fleece. Only our finest alpacas are picked to have their own yarn. People can wear alpaca next to their skin because of the absence of prickly coarse hairs. This scarf measures 100cms x 16cms. Iquita also has a Hat in her yarn and an Elmira shawl: see small photos.
