Fowberry Iquita's Yarn
We are able to offer 4-ply alpaca yarn exclusively from Fowberry Iquita.
The fleece that was processed into yarn was from Iquita's second and third fleece, so the resultant yarn is beautifully soft and springy. Iquita is multi-championship winning alpaca and one of our top flight females, because of the quality of babies she produces and the fineness of her fleece. Photos of Iquita right.
No harsh chemicals or bleach were used in the making of this yarn, so the colour is Winter White. Slight inconsistencies in yarn are compatible with a naturally produced product.
Offered in 100g balls: a total of 4 balls = 400gms.
Hand knitter, Ilana's wonderful shawl made exclusively with Fowberry alpacas yarn. Ilana's comments: "It was lovely to knit with - incredibly warm and soft". Ilana's pattern is Echo Flower Shawl, free from Ravelry.
